We are very passionate for nature and wildlife conservation. We run this project to teach the local children to respect and protect the wildlife starting at an early age. It is with utmost importance that they have a green, eco-conscious mindset…so San Vicente will have a good chance in conserving its God given beauty for generations to come.
We have spearheaded efforts to protect and conserve sea turtles in Brgy. San Isidro and the other Barangays of San Vicente. In October 2017, we spearheaded the 1st local barangay ordinance in the Philippines protecting the Pawikans (marine turtles). We have been trained and partnered with the local government, PCSD, DENR and WWF. Turtle season starts in October all the way to the months of April. We turn our beach front into an outdoor classroom primarily for the local children and is open to all. Data gathering, securing the turtles, releasing and educating the community are our main work.
